Welcome to the 2019 academic year! I have no doubt that the holidays were starting to drag on for your children and they are keen to be back at Mueller.

Hudson Taylor, a 19th century missionary to China lived according to the words, “God’s work, done God’s way, will never lack God’s supply”. This is on my mind as we head into 2019. Due to new leadership positions and enrolment growth, we have welcomed 17 new staff as we start the year. God’s blessing to us has been the amazing way he provided such high quality and dedicated Christian staff.

We also believe the new families we welcome to our community are God’s supply to the positive and encouraging culture which we enjoy at Mueller. We trust that all new students will settle in quickly, find friends fast and feel part of our community.

We say it often, however, at Mueller we believe all students ‘want to belong’ and all students ‘want to learn’. In order to support students in this, 2019 sees the appointment of new people into leadership positions. The new positions are aimed at ensuring students are supported both academically and pastorally. Over the next couple of weeks, we will introduce these people. In this week’s edition of Mueller Connect we introduce four new coordinators.

Early Years Coordinator – Sarah Grady

Upper Primary Coordinator – Kylie Watts

Middle School Coordinator – David French

Senior School Coordinator – Rachel Baker

We look forward to the year ahead and seeing our young people Grow and Thrive in their pursuits.
