How long have you been teaching & what are you most passionate about?
This is my 3rd year teaching at Mueller but I have worked here in various roles for about 8 years. I am most passionate about Science and Technology and its implementation into students/teachers lives – changing the way students engage with content across the curriculum and the way teachers convey information. I also love seeing the way technology has developed and finding new ways to integrate it into classroom environments.

Coffee of choice?
Coffee of choice would be a flat white on a cool day and iced latte on a hot day.

What do you love to do on a day off?
On my days off I love getting to work in the lab, but during holidays I love snowboarding!!! 🙂

We heard you’re studying your PHD right now! Can you give us a little run down on what it is about and why you decided to study it?
I officially started my PhD this year at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Analytical Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Development. A brief explanation of what I am doing is I am identifying, isolating and purifying anti-carcinogenic (anti-cancer) compounds found in Australian native bees. I decided to do this because I love getting to work in the lab and conducting cutting edge research. It is also a life goal of mine to be able to complete my PhD!
