A few weeks ago I was able to attend Encounter Camp. Last year this camp was for those involved in chapel to do singing and music workshops, but this year ministry workshops were also an option. This happened straight after the prayer tent – so the whole week was very God focused, which prepared our hearts for what God had to say.

Mr. Rule said that he had one prayer for Encounter camp, for us to ‘encounter God…’. Each and everyone of us encountered God in ways we will never forget – He is changing and growing all of us to be leaders, in worship, song and in ministry.

One of the verses that always sticks with me is 1 Timothy 4:12 which says, “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in Love, in Faith and in purity.”

This is my goal to love and encouraged even when others do not think I am capable I know that God is greater, and He has a plan for my life.

I got the opportunity to pray with many people at Encounter, to encourage them in faith and in their relationship with God. I believe that God is greater than any pain and we can come to Him for help. God has equipped us all to do greater things and has given each and every person gifts and talents – he is equipping us to do greater things for His kingdom!

Encounter Camp for me was an incredible 3 days of worship with people that I love, and I cannot wait to see what this year holds. I saw many of my prayers and the prayers of others being answered and God is so good, he loves you more than you could ever know!
