Literacy Intervention teacher Sandy McCleary and Year 6 teacher Glen Weir were recently awarded their Highly Accomplished teacher accreditation during a ceremony at Customs House. They have participated in a program run by Independent Schools Queensland which required them to submit a folio of their work and be observed and interviewed by assessors. Their accreditation is nationally recognised and the join a group of only 600 teachers in Australia to have achieved this well-deserved honour.
Sandy and Glen are thorough professionals who demonstrate outstanding commitment to providing a high-quality learning environment for Mueller students. The process they completed was demanding and long and reflects their excellent practice and exemplary character. They are a blessing to the Mueller community and we congratulate them on receiving their accreditation.
