In the Bible, Matthew chapter 27 verses 24 to 27, Jesus speaks of two builders. One builder used a solid foundation to build a house and the other, used sand. It is a well-known fact, that strong foundations are crucial to the strength and longevity of the structure built on the foundations. Jesus uses this story to illustrate the strength of using the Word of God as our strong foundation.

In the past couple of years, Mueller has been aspirational in living out the values which are displayed outside the tuckshop. These are;

Every Student Matters Everyday

Everyone is Known and Valued

Everyone can Grow and Thrive

Everyone Belongs and Can Contribute to Community

These statements are not hollow values we invented to appease the community. Instead, they are an outworking of the Gospel in our community. They are founded on the Word of God, expressed in plain language for us all to aspire to. In previous editions of Mueller Connect, we have provided the Biblical foundations for the statements. If you are keen to re-read them, spend some time looking back over last term to see why we believe what we do.
