This year, Grades 10, 11 and 12 have the opportunity to gain their certificate 1 in Animal Studies. The subject is made up of theory, quizzes, videos, journals and practicums which all aim for the students to build up their confidence and knowledge of animals.
They learn about body language, hygiene, feeding, watering and overall care for different animals and have the opportunity to interact with them during one class per week where an animal visits the classroom. This week they were visited by a Border Collie named Archie and a Cockatiel named Daisy.
