Monday morning saw our Year 9 cohort step into their brand new classroom spaces on Level 2 of MPAC. The area is modeled on the senior precinct of H block with transparent walls to allow for light and a collaborative atmosphere. The students were thrilled to be the first to use the space and were encouraged to steward it well keeping the grades coming up behind them in mind.
The seven new classrooms comfortably house the whole grade and having a new home means they won’t have to be using the makeshift classrooms on different levels of MPAC anymore. There are a few minor details left to be completed but the Year 9’s settled in well and got off to a great start in their fresh corner of the campus.
