Book Week for 2020 kicked off with a bang on Monday as Primary students flocked to the library to get a taste of the jungle-themed festivities.

The safari-style photo booth proved wildly popular with lines of students patiently waiting their turn. Others chose to explore the library, finding new pockets of jungly wonder around every corner. With a waterfall, hidden animals, safari guides, a watering hole, artefacts, giant trees and a jungle canopy, the atmosphere was certainly transformed to bring the ‘Curious Minds’ theme to life. Craft drew the Primary’s back to create some explorer’s binoculars and curious creatures.

On Tuesday the school had a Primary stampede as students raced to complete a ‘Wild Curiosity Hunt’. The Year 6 crew helped teachers man animal stations around the school, giving out stamps for students to complete their ‘Mueller Safari Park’ passport –  a wildly successful adventure!
