The class of 2020 was sent off with a bang last week with celebrations around the clock to mark the end of their schooling journey.
Wednesday night the cohort gathered to officially graduate Year 12. The school captains gave a valedictory address before the Academic Excellence and Special Awards were presented, and the graduation certificates awarded.
Friday morning they came together for games and a final breakfast before heading into a student-led chapel. The Year 12’s performed and Mr Bird encouraged them with a message urging them to be confident in their identity as they enter the world. The students then took time to honour their teachers with a gift and reflected on the highlights of their years together. As a final goodbye, Years 7-11 made a tunnel to cheer the Year 12’s out.
