School is back in full swing and we are excited to see so many happy faces back on campus – and that is just the parents. It was encouraging to have parents visit Hudsons again and enjoy the community atmosphere over coffee and cake. We often say that Mueller is ‘more than a school’. This means many things. These past couple of days the richness of the community has demonstrated the ‘more’ that Mueller is.

We have come to terms with the fact that we are a large school. This doesn’t mean however that we need to feel large. It is passion of ours that every student have a deep sense of belonging at Mueller. Every student matters. Over the course of the year, your child will be known by many people on campus, all with a common goal – to see them come to school with a smile, leave with a smile and learn heaps in between.

God doesn’t make junk was the theme for our Day 1 megaChapel. We would like each student to see themselves as uniquely special, created in God’s image. Life can be tough for our young people and it is our desire that students don’t make things more difficult by having a warped sense of their own identity. Recognising their own uniqueness and the uniqueness of others is foundational to a positive, no-bullying culture.

I trust the week and beginning of the 2021 academic year has been smooth. Please reach out if you are in need of any support.
