Last week the senior dance students had the opportunity to participate in a guest artist workshop with Nerida Matthaei.
The workshop focused on contemporary technique, improvisation skills and contact work. The students stepped out of their comfort zone to learn new ways of moving and interacting within the space. The students thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and are looking forward to using these new skills in their upcoming assessment pieces.
Nerida is a highly experienced dance practitioner and a Doctor in contemporary choreographic practices. We look forward to welcoming her back for workshops in the future and continuing to widen our dancers’ industry connections.
