The Year 2 cohort swapped the classroom for the great outdoors as they became Aquatic Scientists for a day and explored the Wynnum water ways. As ‘Aquatic Scientists,’ students explored along the creek observing and conducting experiments on water, collecting samples before making predictions, taking measurements and locating the human impacts in the catchment.

Students loved water dipping for creatures, exploring and discovering the health of different water sources as well as using microscope and discussing ways to keep our water ways clean.
