Last weekend 22 students set off to mountain bike along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail for the Mueller Bike Hike. An event that was first initiated in the time of founding principal, Col Krueger, the hike was revived in 2021 to take the Year 7-9 students over 100km’s on their mountain bikes across two days.

Accompanied by four parents and four staff, the group began in the town of Moore, went through Linville, and made their way up the Blackbutt range to finish at Yarraman. They took a well-deserved rest, camping for the night and getting refueled by the support team, before retracing their steps back to Moore the next day.

Sights were seen, tyres were patched, muscles were stretched, community was forged, and the team made it back in one piece with some amazing memories to share.
