Last week the Year 11 girls headed to the Sunshine Coast on a 4 day camp to Luther Heights.
They started off tackling a ‘riddle challenge’ up Wild Horse Mountain. Whilst this was literally and figuratively a mountain to climb for some, others were challenged in different ways! The girls participated in a number of fun adventure activities throughout the week, including high ropes, flying fox, and a challenge course.

Miss Monica Latter did a fantastic job sharing with the girls each day about the idols they might encounter as young women, and gave them ways to overcome these. A number of the teachers shared some of their own stories about how they have wrestled with these same encounters.

The girls loved the 80’s Fluro Night, and this was the highlight for most. Jazzercise and sweet Karaoke sounds filled the final night with laughter and glee.

Combining our input times and the challenges throughout the camp, meant the girls walked away feeling encouraged and uplifted, and no doubt a little tired.

They had an awesome time!!
