On Monday 10th May, some of the Year 11 Accounting took part in a photoshoot for our Accounting software providers, AccountingPod and XERO. We are the first secondary school in Australia to use the AccountingPod Online Learning platform, which provides curated practice sets and case studies for both the Year 11 and 12 Accounting students to use in both classwork and as part of assessment projects, giving students real-world experience using the XERO Learn accounting software.
The consultation process over the past 18 months has seen a positive partnership between Mueller College and AccountingPod, which has resulted in case studies being available that ensures we are able to meet QCAA requirements for our students when completing assessment projects. As you can see, we enjoyed the photo shoot immensely, and are now hard at work on the 11 Accounting AccountingPod/XERO project using the data for a tractor repair business.
