Over the weekend our Netball Academy teams attended a camp to help build team culture, bond as a group and prepare for the Term 3 netball season. Years 5-12 girls came together on Friday and began with a mad ‘Amazing Race’ game that saw teams adventuring all over the school to complete activities. They finished the night off with s’mores around the bonfire.
Saturday they got up bright and early for a sunrise training session before having breakfast and getting energised for a morning of practice. The Primary students went home after an afternoon of bowling, leaving the Secondary students to continue their training into Sunday.
The teams will go into competitive games next term ‘recognising each and every player is worth something of tremendous value.’ We look forward to following their progress.
