Our amazing library staff and teaching team will be putting together an exciting week of activities this term to celebrate BOOK WEEK.
Book Week will be celebrated in Week 7 (23-27 August). The theme for the week is Old World, New Worlds, Other Worlds.
Primary students will have the opportunity to dress up as their favourite book character or something related to the theme. The Parade will take place in the Lacey Sports Centre on Tuesday 24 August, starting at 9.00 am. You are welcome to join us at the parade on the Tuesday morning. This is for fun and engagement in reading, so there will not be individual prizes for costumes, so just have some fun with this, as this is not to add stress to busy households. Appropriate closed-in footwear must be worn as well as clothes of an appropriate nature that safely allow students to participate in school activities.
