Food and Textiles students have been working hard to complete project-based assessments earlier this semester showcasing their newfound skills in the kitchen and the workroom.

Senior students showed off their colourful culinary creations with beautifully presented plates of food.

With interior design in mind, Year 9 created cushion covers using a variety of sewing techniques and either an appliqued or patchwork-pieced front. Vision and skills collided to bring together some charming pieces they will be proud to display in their homes.

Year 10 ventured into the realm of the Peter Alexander empire, studying the pyjama giant’s style and designs. The class was then tasked with creating their own sleepwear collection suitable for a Queensland summer.
