Last week Mueller College mathematics students competed in the Queensland Association of Mathematics Teachers tournament for the first time.
The competition involves five areas of Mathematics: Estimation, Speed, Individual Problem Solving, Group Problem Solving and General Knowledge. It’s different from the usual paper test format, and involves collaborating and strategizing as a team to maximize points.
