Year 7 History are currently learning about the many innovative and clever ways that enabled a small settlement along the Tiber River to become the mighty Ancient Roman Empire.

Ms Sheehy loaned some of her Roman artifacts and replicas to the students to get a hands-on feel for early Roman life.  The shields, sword, Roman coins, and a model catapult and battering ram brought their studies alive, giving students a more tangible glimpse into one of the most significant periods of world history.
