Year 2 have been investigating ‘the water cycle’ this term and had the chance to attend an excursion to the Wynnum Catchment area to see some of their study come to life.
Students were shown how water flows through a catchment and what impedes its travels. In small groups, they got to conduct experiments – taking samples, making predictions, and classifying living things. They also heard about how human impacts affect the catchment area.
