Year 11 boys journeyed north to Lake Cootharaba last week for a week of adventure together. The boys camped at Elanda Point and set out from there to mountain bike, surf, hike and swim. Working individually, and at times, in teams, they took on both physical and mental challenges to stretch their capacity and build connections.

For the teachers, the highlight of the week was the fireside conversations and being able to talk life, faith and relationships alongside the students. With the pressures of studies and other commitments left at home, the group continued their SL@M focus, a unit called ‘The Men We Need’, that fosters the Mueller core values of character, respect, safety, and an independent attitude. They had a fantastic time, coming home with a new camaraderie and tenacity to take into the year ahead.
