Year 12 Discipleship Prefect, Emily Bush, had a vision to see life groups running at Mueller. Last year she gathered some peers to begin a group for Year 7 girls. They started somewhat tentatively, taking time to get to know each other but grew to be a space where the group could share, encourage each other and talk about Jesus.
This year Emily has started putting her bigger plan into action, bringing together a group of students for a leadership life group with the aim of equipping them to run their own groups in Term 3. Each week, she invites a teacher along to share a specific topic and asks a student to share from their experience in life groups, all to encourage the group to build relationships and share the love of Christ with others.
The group are ready and raring to go next term and we can’t wait to see life groups unfold across campus.
