On Thursday night the Year 10 Drama students presented their annual physical theatre performance: “Grimm Tales”. Using primarily visual storytelling methods demands a high level of training and physical discipline and these students have spent the semester building to this point.

The class told the stories of Cinderella, Hansel & Gretel, Rapunzel, The Magic Mirror, and Little Red Riding Hood in a dynamic and creative way. They used every inch of a runway-style stage to bring the audience up close and personal with the action. There were plenty of cheers of relief and joy backstage as they celebrated the performance and wrapped up the huge project.

Earlier in the evening some Year 8’s had the opportunity to welcome the audience, showing them to their seats in masked costume. See all of the photos below…
