Primary students kicked off the first day of winter this year with an extraordinary Winter Wonderland. The temperature might have been cold, but the hearts of the primary students were kept warm as students from Grades 3-6 showcased The Arts, as well as entertaining all of A Quad during lunch.

Students were encouraged to sign up to perform at a lunchtime concert, or to submit artworks for display. The sign-up was such a success, that auditions were held over 2 morning teas, to narrow down our performers to just 7.

On the big day the show was opened with Mueller’s very own adapted version of the classic Michael Buble song ‘Walking in a Winter Wonderland’. Then the audience was treated to the dazzling primary strings band who performed 3 songs. Following this, were six perfect performances from students in grades 3-6 who played and sang various songs of their choice.

Along with the grooving tunes,  students were encouraged to submit a beautiful artwork to be displayed at the concert. We had many artworks put forward including an amazing painting of a snowman painted by a talented year 6 student.

A huge thank you to Mrs Schmidt, for everything she did to make the day such a success.
