Over the past 8 weeks, 50 of our Yr 3s & 4s have undergone one of our development programs in touch football. It has been very rewarding watching these little legends develop in both skill and character, while also building friendships in a great team environment.

Last week we had our season finale, which saw all 3 games go into extra time! Finals footy, in the rain, a big crowd (parents), and golden point – we almost thought we were at Suncorp stadium. Congratulations to all our players for playing their hearts out! And well done to the Storm taking first place winning 6-5 over the Cowboys.

Massive thanks to 18 of our Secondary academy players for giving back to the next generation of touch academy stars. Each week they volunteered doing a coaching session with their team and then both coaching and reffing their team’s games. We are very proud of you and the culture you are creating!

Thanks also to Mr Ware for heading this up each week and working behind the scenes to make this a fun and useful experience for our students.
