AMPED, a holiday program run by Mueller Community Church, was a huge highlight last week for Mueller kids and many from the surrounding community. Over 300 Primary school kids descended on MPAC for 4 days of jam-packed fun.
Henry the octopus watched from above as the kids sang songs, learned about how to ‘Make Waves’ for Jesus, and played games as their groups competed for points. They then divided into groups to do craft, hear about missions, share in small groups, eat, and play outrageous outdoor games. Thursday took things next level with a giant foam pit and an epic slip-n-slide on site.
Many Secondary students gave up their holiday time to come along and lead groups throughout the week. The whole group contributed to raise funds to build wells in disadvantaged countries by bringing in coins and cans. Over the 4 days they raised enough to build 5 wells!
