Our senior music students shared their latest musical pieces with an encouraging audience of friends and family last week. Though the ocean-themed evening brought some big elements of fun with Hawaiian shirts, leis, and Bruce the shark presiding over events, the night has a serious side as all the songs form part of the student’s assessment. One component of their assessment is performance, so the event allowed them to have an audience and practise performing for them.
Even with last-minute changes due to illness, the students overcame nerves and put on a fantastic night of songs from The Beatles, Brooke Fraser, The Mama’s and the Papa’s, and more. Take a look at their fantastic show…
