Mueller takes the opportunity to educate young people not just in the sphere of academics but in all aspects that might impact their ability to one-day leave school equipped for life outside the Mueller bubble. Topics addressing social and spiritual issues are addressed in Chapel, Assemblies, Form Classes, Camps, SL@M sessions and more.

Last week in Year 9 SL@M, the students focused on the risks of teenage alcohol consumption. A group that delivers drama-based education visited to present a session called ‘Smashed’. They acted out a scenario and then invited audience participation to re-direct the play, changing the outcome of the plot to reflect better choices. With trivia and plenty of humour thrown in, the students were energised and engaged as they learned about this important topic.
