The Years 1-3 choir draws a huge crowd of participants to the music room each week with Mrs Holwerda leading the charge. They gather around the piano practising for upcoming performances, with some students rehearsing to take the stage for the very first time.
This week they were rehearsing old faithful’s, ‘Jesus Loves Me’ & ‘I’ve Got the Joy Down in My Heart’. Though the bars of these songs are well-worn by the generations before them, the melody becomes fresh once again when sung from such earnest little hearts.
