The after-school creative program ‘Primary Creates’ has taken a sweeter turn this term with students learning how to decorate cupcakes. Mrs Richens, our resident baking expert, took 3 afternoons to show the Year 3 & 4 participants how to roll, cut, and shape fondant to make a pig, koala and panda cupcakes.
There was plenty of chatter and questions as the students got to work, and decided how to individualise their design. They now have some basic skills to get creative with their own cupcakes at home.
