Year 3 took a trip to the Sunshine Coast last week to explore the world under the water at Sea Life. The students have been learning about classifying animals in Science this term, and took their fresh knowledge north to apply with some hands-on activities.
The touch pool was a big highlight for the explorers, getting their hands on sea stars and sea cucumbers. The explorers walked the classic ocean tunnel, spying on sharks and sting rays. They marvelled at the giant shark jaws, took a close look at some sea creature shell homes, and took in the spectacular seal show. What a great day out!
