In the school calendar, we are in the celebration season. It’s a special time of year when we honour the dedication and efforts of the students over the past year. Whether it is on the netball court, on the stage, or in a science class, our students have the opportunity to develop their skills and perform to the best of their ability.
While your child may not receive a medal, a certificate or an award, every day, Mueller Staff are creating opportunities for your child to develop and grow. Every day they are looking to see progress. Some progress may be small, but progress is often more valuable than a perfect performance.
Often, we think, the opinion of others and our peers matters most! Striving for others to see us, accept us and approve of who we are and what we can do, can be exhausting.
Rather if we look to an audience of one. If we look to God and what he thinks of us, our life is built on a firm foundation.
God’s Words says in Him, you are…
Wonderfully made
Psalm 139:14
Loved.
Romans 5:5
Forgiven.
Colossians 2:13
Seen
1Peter 3:12
Never alone
Joshua 1:9
So this week, we celebrate and applaud, but we are reminded that our lives are truly fulfilled and have a purpose when we focus on the audience of one, the Loving Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
