We are excited to introduce the Anxiety Coach Program for 2025, designed to equip parents with practical tools and insights to help their children manage anxiety. This engaging and informative program will explore how a well-developed theory of parenting—focused on consistent actions—can reduce children’s worries and help them build resilience.
Throughout the sessions, you will gain a clear understanding of how the brain processes fear and anxiety, particularly the role of the amygdala and pre-frontal cortex. We will also cover:
✔️ Common cognitive distortions and the misused phrases children often adopt, helping parents recognize and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns.
✔️ Balancing risk and safety, ensuring children have opportunities for growth without unnecessary stress.
✔️ Practical techniques to manage anxiety in the moment, including strategies to calm an overactive amygdala.
✔️ Strengthening sayings, exercises, and questioning techniques that empower children to develop confidence and resilience.
This program is a great opportunity for parents who want to better support their child’s emotional well-being.
A few spots have become available! If you’re interested, we encourage you to complete the registration form. Once the limit has been reached, a waiting list for the next program will be established.
