Last week our Primary leadership team went to the Grip Leadership Conference. The conference aims to train the student leaders with topics that give them tools to lead in their schools right now. The main sessions covered the responsibilities of a student leader, leadership through friendship, and forming new ideas to help others.
The conference was engaging, and the students had lots of fun interacting with student leaders from other schools. There were lots of interactive scenarios to get them thinking about how they would approach the situations in their own setting. The students especially loved the ‘loud noises’ segments, where there was a designated time to be noisy and play different leadership-based games.
