As the term draws to a close, I trust the past 10 weeks have been positive. Term 2 is always a grind. The weather starts to get colder, the days shorter, and the work in the classroom gets more serious. The Winter Break is well-deserved, and I hope you have a restful time with your family.
As I write this article, I am in Bundaberg with 55 Mueller Worship students. The students have already run a church service in Agnes Water, 3 Chapels at Discovery Christian College and are about to depart for Bundaberg Christian College. The next 2 days of service is to encourage the Bundaberg students in their faith journey. It is an encouragement to see our students present the Gospel so clearly through a message, worship, and just hanging out with other students.
A highlight of the term was Prayer Week, another student-led ministry activity. There is something special about students taking responsibility for the spiritual tone of the student body. Students have been bold in their faith as they stepped up to lead.
Term 3 is set to be another big term. We kick off on Wednesday, July 16, and then the big celebration on Saturday, July 19, with the Mueller Fete.
