This term, three teams of go-karters have been prepping and practising for the Brisbane Schools Go-Kart Competition. Every Thursday afternoon, the oval would become a practice track as competitors trained to get the right balance of speed and safety.
The teams joined 21 race teams from 7 different Brisbane schools at the comp and had fantastic success. Team 3 came in 10th (Mani Dutney, Lincoln King, Harry Micklewright & Ryan Surjan) – a great effort with the number of teams they went up against. Team 2 came in 5th (Jensyn Flaherty-Pickthorne, Jared Wetzel, Sophie Kent & Oliver Sheppard) and Team 1 took out the blue ribbon! Nice work on taking the podium, Tito Dow, Caleb Ralph, Austin Thompson, Nate Gauci & Bailey Harris.
