2026 has started so beautifully, and there is already so much wonderful activity happening around campus. The Girls Basketball Academy is up and running, our Year 11 Legal Studies students have enjoyed an excursion to the Supreme Court, Year 11 Arts students were inspired by a magnificent installation at GOMA, and the Secondary Dance Troupe have been on camp. However, all of this truly pales in comparison to the Prep Gingerbread Man hunt!
Much to their horror, on Wednesday afternoon our Prep students returned from playtime to discover that the delicious Gingerbread Men they had spent the morning decorating had run away! Without missing a beat, students, teachers and teacher aides went in hot pursuit of these cheeky rascals, visiting key people around campus to see if they had been spotted. From our lovely Front Office team to our Chappies, Nurses, Librarians, Mrs Grady, Mr Valese and finally myself, the Preppies searched high and low, only to discover that the Gingerbread Man preferred to be in Prep after all (who wouldn’t!). What a fun afternoon it was, and what a delightful way to bring our Book of the Week to life through imagination, drama and adventure. You can take a look at the highlights here.
I would also like to extend a very warm welcome to all our new families joining the Mueller community this year. It is truly an honour to have you with us, and we hope you are already feeling welcomed and blessed.
