Year 11 Art studies the world of Contemporary Art in all its strange forms! Social and cultural issues are part of this study, such as; the plight of refugees, new technologies, First Nations issues and healing social rifts. As part of the course, students create art from a diverse range of materials including light optics, children’s toys, food, recycled materials and water. To aid this work Year 11 students attended the QAGOMA exhibition ‘Presence’ highlighting the work of Berlin artist Olafur Eliasson.
