I trust you had a refreshing Easter break.
Term 2 is known for ‘heads down and work hard’. The excitement of the new year has worn off, and we are in the thick of the curriculum. Outside the classroom, there is Early Years Week and a couple of camps, but predominantly Term 2 is about pushing through to the cold winter days ahead.
ANZAC Service
We have our Mueller College ANZAC Service this Friday. We are very proud of Mueller students who have or are currently serving, as well as the many parents who have dedicated their life to serving our great country. ANZAC Day is about sacrifice. A time to remember the brave men and women who sacrificed much for the sake of their nation.
I heard in a sermon on the holidays – blessing comes with sacrifice, if you are currently enjoying a blessing it is because you have made a sacrifice or others have made the sacrifice before you.
This is so true about ANZAC Day. We enjoy our modern freedoms because of the sacrifice of our Armed Forces.
We are also indebted to the pioneers of Mueller College who sacrificed much to ensure the Redcliffe Peninsula has a Gospel-centred school. It is because of their faith that we enjoy the blessings of today.
We are very excited to move into the new Wellbeing/Administration building. In a couple of weeks, we will do a full video walkthrough to show the community. We are incredibly blessed with the provision of the new building.
