Preppies were both apprehensive and bursting with excitement to meet their new Year 7 buddies this week. They’ll be paired up over the remainder of the term, meeting once a week to connect, read, and bridge the gap between Primary and Secondary.
This week, the Year 7’s were tasked with learning 3 facts about their buddies. One Prep immediately showed off her love of dancing with a live recital! Others talked about their families and their favourite thing to do on the weekend. Preppies then got to pick their favourite book for the buddies to read to them, quietly studying the big kids as they listened.
It was then time to say goodbye, but now they’ve all got a new friend to say hello to when they’re out and about on campus.
