This weekend, over 110 student-athletes gathered for Touch Academy Camp. The time together is designed to develop skills, deliver strategy, and generate culture for the upcoming year. Camp serves as a significant boost on players’ journey within the Academy to reach their full potential and integrate into the Academy family.
They headed to the Sunshine Coast, and though the rain prevented a few activities, training remained rigorous, with strong buy-in from the players. Camp culminated on Saturday night with the annual tournament. Congrats to Team Tahere and Team Johnson on taking out the wins.
A massive thank you to the 30 coaches who helped make the camp happen. The increase in skill and culture evident already this year is a direct result of their influence on weekly trainings and games. We’re excited to see the teams progress throughout the upcoming season!
