It was a sumptuous banquet in the ‘Italian alps’ of MPAC last Friday night when Hospitality, Cookery and Events students rolled out ‘Christmas in August’. The classes have to put their practical skills to the test to gain real industry experience, so the event is designed to mimic a restaurant with real-time ordering, table service, seating, and bar service in the front of house, and meal prep, cooking and plating in the back of house.
The Mueller Jazz band also joined the evening to bring some festive tunes and a cosy atmosphere. What a wonderful evening of food and entertainment!
