At the culmination of Beanies for Brain Cancer Week, 15 teachers and 2 students took the plunge into icy water in The Big Chill last week. Why? It’s all about raising funds for the Mark Hughes Foundation who are researching a cure for brain cancer and supporting patients and families affected by it.
Students were roaring with encouragement from the sidelines as the crazy characters went down the slide. Some of our teachers jumped in as good sports for the cause, and others participated because of their personal stories of loss at the hands of brain cancer. Together, the Mueller community made a difference through their support and participation in Beanies Week.
