Two years ago, I wrote in Mueller Connect…

“We are preparing for the construction of the integrated wellbeing centre on campus. This purpose-built facility has been purposefully designed to bring together various wellbeing services into one location. Our various wellbeing services are currently dotted across campus. We are excited to have a centrally located facility which will enhance community and again prioritise the mental health of students.”

12 months ago, I followed this up with the following in Mueller Connect,

“What is important to remember is that well-being doesn’t come from a building. Relationship is the vehicle for student well-being. Positive student relationships and respectful teacher-student relationships are paramount as we continue to see students reach their goals.”

We have now taken occupancy of Bristol House, and it is encouraging to say that the building has played its role in strengthening relationships and the care for our students. When you walk into Bristol House, you are greeted with a panorama or happy faces representing the various ministries on campus. From the ELC, the College, OSHC and Aged Care services, Mueller is a Christian community that, at its heart wants to see lives transformed by the Gospel. The shiny building has not changed our vision for the community.

Term 3 is almost at an end. We trust you have a restful break, and return refreshed in a couple of weeks, ready to see out 2026.
