Earlier this term, Year 2 went on an excursion to Newstead House to immerse themselves in Australian history. This week, they continued their exploration of the past by playing some ‘olden day’ games.

While hula-hooping, skipping, and hopscotch used to be staples of the playground, they were new activities to many of the Year 2’s. They also had a try at an egg and spoon race and a ring toss game, but the real highlight turned out to be ‘ring around the rosie’, which had the students in fits of laughter!
