This morning our Year 2’s enjoyed a fun incursion visiting the Goombuckar Indigenous Cultural Bus.
So what is it…
The Goombuckar Indigenous Cultural Bus is a 34 seater bus converted into a mobile Indigenous Learning platform. A living history & Story Telling experience that the students come aboard & learn about our local Indigenous Places, people and culture.
Our Year 2’s enjoyed learning about the Gubbi Gubbi people, their songs, symbols, customs, language and heritage. Then they had a story time and had heaps of fun making their own art creations from recalling the stories told earlier.
