QATSIF (Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Foundation) was created to give Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families increased educational choices and life opportunities. It is an independent, not-for-profit trust managed by The Public Trustee of Queensland and operates through a small Secretariat.
The QATSIF runs a scholarship program as well as other activities which connect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students with post-school opportunities.

Expressions of Interest – NOW Open
We are now accepting Expressions of Interest for the 2024 Queensland Health Deadly Start Education2Employment School-based Traineeship program for 2024 Year 11 Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander students interested in a career with Queensland Health.
In 2024, the program will be expanding into more Hospitals and Health Services, including Community Health.
Students are to register their interest by scanning the QR code on the flyer, once we receive this information, they will be sent an Application.
