Book Week is the most exciting week of the year in the library. This year did not disappoint with children engaging in the Book Character Parade, a treasure hunt, gold mining, meeting a visiting author and even learning some really cool pirate moves from the Drama department.
The theme this year was ‘Find your Treasure’. Not only did the children have fun with the various activities but they were also exposed to the excellent literature that Australian authors are producing and finding their ‘treasure’ in reading. It was an excellent time for all including the dedicated library staff who organised the celebrations.
