In Prep we have been reading the Dr Seuss Book Oh, the Places You’ll Go and learning that when we grow up we might face some struggles. On Monday and Tuesday we enjoyed listening to guest speakers from around the school and community, come and talk to us about their jobs. On Thursday we will be dressing up in what we want to be when we are older and the Preppies will be joining in lots of fun activities and get to experience different types of jobs.

On Monday we heard from…

  • Mr Valese – Principal
  • Mr Miller – Chef
  • Mr Langford – Deputy Principal
  • Miss Helen (Mrs Meinel) – Children’s & Families Pastor
  • Constable Brent Hallett – Policeman

and on Tuesday we heard from…

  • Mrs Sturges & Mrs Cooper – Nurses
  • Mr Stackman – Electrician
  • Mrs Kusic – Chaplain
  • Mr Rule – Music & Drama Teacher & Musical Director

The Prep students asked some tricky questions like… “Why do you have to work so hard?” & “Do you have to work for 100 minutes?”
